Teeny
Teeny is a mini black and tan smooth dachshund, and she is a basic dachshund that you will read about. She loves to hunt, loves to eat, and loves to lounge around. We do everything together. When I rescued Teeny I instantly bonded with her. She is the reason why I love to know knowledge about dog behavior, dog nutrition, how to travel with a dog, and of course how to love one. When I got Teeny I was 16 years old, I like to call her my 16 & pregnant dog because we both grew up together and I gained knowledge over the years about it. I will talk about sensitive tummies, food and treats for sensitive tummies, aggression, dachshund knowledge.
Nala
Nala is my shih- Tzu, she is what is called a “Gold Party”. She has a mixture of tan, gray, and white. My husband and I decided to own a grooming, daycare, and boarding facility, and when a good friend brought in Nala as a puppy we bonded. She came almost every day with me to work to hang out with me and be with other people and dogs. Later on, my friend decided it would be best if I kept her.My husband and I decided to take her in. Teeny and Nala bonded instantly and I bonded with her. I always had to make sure to hold back a little of my attachments because she wasn’t mine, but when I finally got to call her mine I got to love her with all my heart. Nala I groom myself, because she is so used to me grooming her that I decided to just keep doing it. Nala loves to be a big goof ball and she is the little baby in the house. She loves to run in the grass at the park, she loves to bark and growl at her toys and me as well to pay attention to her. She also loves to be with me at work. I learned a lot from Nala as well. How to groom her properly, her nutrition because she is very picky, and how to socialize her properly, and shih Tzu knowledge and with you guys I will share my experience and knowledge with her on my blog.
Mia
Mia is a red smooth coat dachshund. She is my recent rescue. I was scrolling down Facebook and saw her picture come up saying that her owner passed away and she is on the older side and needed someone to take her in to live off the rest of her days. When I saw her picture I instantly fell in love with her. With a lot of convincing to do to my husband we decided on adopting her. Then when I met her for the first time I knew that I needed to have her. Mia is about 9-13 years old, she is grey, but she acts like she is 1. She plays with all her toys, she runs in the grass and keeps up with Nala and she just loves to be loved. When Mia came to us she was extremely skinny, because with her old owner she had extremely bad teeth where I think she just couldn’t eat. So, when I got her she could only be on wet food. 3 months later she is at a good weight and living healthy and happy. I will talk a lot about a different options nutrition for different types of dogs, healthy treats, and other fun things for your pup.
